We welcome corrections, updates, feedback, and questions about the game warden career information on this site. Because game warden requirements change and vary by state, reader input — especially from active or retired wardens — helps us keep our guides accurate.
How to Reach Us
Email: For corrections, updates, or general inquiries, email us at hello@wardentools.com.
When writing, please include:
- The specific page URL or state you are referring to
- The information you believe is inaccurate or outdated
- A source (official agency page, job posting, or document) if you have one
We review all correspondence and correct verified errors promptly.
Corrections and Updates
If you spot an error — particularly an outdated salary figure, a changed state requirement, or a broken link — please tell us. Our editorial process depends on reader feedback and regular review of state wildlife agency career pages. We treat corrections as a priority and update affected pages as quickly as we can verify the new information.
For salary corrections, please note that all national figures cite the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics OEWS (most recent release: May 2023). If a figure appears to conflict with BLS data, include the specific BLS source URL so we can reconcile it.
What We Can Help With
- Corrections to factual errors on the site
- Updates to state wildlife agency requirements
- General questions about where to find game warden career information
- Feedback on how to improve our guides
What We Cannot Do
- We cannot provide personal career counseling or evaluate your individual qualifications. For that, consult a qualified career counselor or your target state's wildlife agency recruiter.
- We cannot intercede with any state wildlife agency on hiring matters. WardenTools is an independent website, not affiliated with any government agency.
- We cannot provide legal advice. For legal questions, consult a licensed attorney.
- We cannot guarantee employment outcomes. Game warden hiring is competitive and decided entirely by the hiring agencies.
See our disclaimer for the full scope of what we do and do not provide.
Response Time
We read all messages but may not respond individually to every one. Verified corrections are applied regardless of whether we reply. Please allow time for review and verification, particularly for changes involving multiple state pages.
Mailing List (Future)
We may offer an email newsletter in the future to notify readers of major data updates (such as the annual BLS OEWS refresh). If and when we launch one, subscription will be optional and clearly disclosed, and you will be able to unsubscribe at any time.
