Physical fitness, endurance, and athletic ability. Use Athletics to run, jump, climb, swim, and perform feats of physical prowess. It's the baseline physical skill — if you need to do something that requires strength, speed, or endurance, Athletics is the check. It pairs well with Hand-to-Hand Combat (physical confrontation) and Wilderness Survival (physical endurance in hostile environments). In a universe where running away is often the best option, Athletics saves lives.
