A small, folding utility blade barely larger than a pen. It deals 1d5 damage at Adjacent range — the minimum for a weapon. The pen knife is a tool, not a weapon. It cuts thread, opens packages, trims wire, and in absolute desperation, can be used to threaten someone. If you're relying on a pen-knife for combat, you've made several bad decisions already. But it's better than nothing, and it fits in your pocket.
